Be careful what you wish for I say!! Not so long ago Members were bewailing the fact that there weren’t many people who put up Videos. Now its “gurning at the camera with a plank of wood”. Can’t win ‘em all.
We play guitars and are not necessarily video makers so forgive us if our attempts at video to satisfy this perceived ‘need’ don’t meet certain standards.
cheers

Thanks Ian, Tony, Toby & Tom for your replies.
I agree - that high note near the end always gets me every time I listen to it.

The video editing was done by Andrew - I just did the easy bit - taking the videos, but I am learning how to do it. slowly !
Most of the videos I did in the past were on my own - where you press the remote ,start the track and hope you play it right.
If it doesn't come right in 2 or 3 takes then I tend to take the best of a bad lot. It's much easier if someone else is operating the camcorder.

Lisa passes on her sincere thanks to all for your nice comments and is eager to do some more songs.

Phil

What an absolutely beautiful rendition of “over the Rainbow” by your daughter in law - very Eva Cassidy-like, one of my favourite artists. We recently saw the Eva Cassidy Story at our local theatre , a very moving experience.

Best wishes for a musical future to you and Lisa, she could easily play the lead in the show with a voice like that! I’m going to put a copy on my IPOD if that’s ok, so I can listen to it in the future.

I'm glad Lisa is keen to do more songs. I for one would love to hear more, and judging by the comments others feel the same. Bring it on!!

Brian.

PS I took the liberty of playing the track to a couple of the guys I work with and they too were knocked out by Lisa, so I gave them the link to YouTube so they could enjoy the top class vid too.
