This is a real Shadows song, but you never heard it in this way. I heard it twice live during the Final Tour Concerts in Amsterdam and Brighton. I made an instro out of it (hope you like it)

My Home Town

Its all own work (except of course the song itself ;))

That's a great track, Klaas - with a lead guitar sound straight out of the "Rockin' With Curly Leads" era.

Now, the $1,000,000 question...

Any chance of the backing track (without lead guitar)? Please?

Hat tip to you, Klaus for recording an instro version of this. After seeing/hearing the DVD, I'd like to hear more instro versions of Cliff songs. I didn't like the arrangements/playing on the Hank Plays Cliff CD...way to "disco" for me.

Case in point...Roger's version of I Could EZ Fall is far superior to the Hank Plays Cliff version.

Keep these kewl trax comin', ladies/gentlemen.

Great track Klaas. Made a very good instro. A brill.BT too. I also agree with Walt that Rogers version of Easily Fall.. is better than Hanks rendition.

Hi Klaas,
I really like this - A great instrumental arrangement of the vocal version - I agee with JN the lead is very much in the Rocking with curley leads era.
The acoustic guitars sound great - a lot of feeling with the different sections of the song - This must have taken a lot of work but is well worth it as you have produced a brilliant sound file that you should be very proud of.
Cheers Phil

Thanks guys for your kind words :-*

Yes, it takes a lot of time, making your own BT, but it gives a lot of (musical ;)) satisfaction.

I like the song as played by Marvin Welch Farrar because of he brilliant lyrics and the musical variety in chords.
And, of course, Hank and Bruce are excellent singers....

Cheers
