SOMEWHERE OVER THE RAINBOW-JJ AND IAN

Postby Stratpicker » 27 Nov 2009, 17:52

I don't think Lisa's beautiful interpretation of "Over The Rainbow" will ever be topped but here is our version of it.
The BT was made way back in the days of the tragic Tsunami that devastated parts of Thailand and surrounding countries. Now its even more appropriate for our own Cumbria and especially for the family of PC Barker whose funeral was today. He died trying to save people from themselves and my thoughts and prayers go out to his family in particular.
JJ has put his own lead line over the top of the BT very much in the style of EvaC.
I hope it meets with your approval.
cheers
JJ and Ian

As CC says beautiful. Very expressive. Well done both of you. I enjoyed that very much.

Hi JJ & Ian,
Lovely version - played with a lot of feeling - nice use of the swell pedal.
Enjoyed it very much. Phil
