VAT in the UK goes back to 17.5% (from 15%) on Jan 1st 2010.
So if you were wondering whether to get that expensive guitar for Christmas
or to wait 'till the New year, I may just have given you the clincher in any domestic discussions
about household priorities . . . . . .
