I came to the Hankies on Tuesday night with my missus, we had a great time listening to you all. Hopefully i'll pick up the courage to bring my own guitar one of the days and have a go myself

It seems like 'The Hankies' is a really friendly, regular get-together. I'm jealous! Here in this tiny, rural Suffolk village I plough a lonely furrow, I've only got one guitar playing 'mate' and he tells such enormous porkies that I can only tolerate him occasionally......and recently, not at all.
If any of you feel like hearing a really nutty story, one day I'll recount how this chap tells me that he's a mate of Hank and that he regularly visited his farm shop (honestly!) and confided various playing tips. I should have just laughed at him straight away, but out of politeness I didn't. From then on they just became more and more bizarre & far-fetched and it had by then gone too far for me to dispute them without causing a scene.
Believe me, it's nuts in these little villages. If it wasn't for my wife, I'd have lost my sanity (and the will to live around here!) years ago.

I have heard that you chuck stale cobs at people who play bum notes, so i guess i'll have a buffet at my feet by the time i've finished
Only kidding, not as bad as that, just have a problem remembering the names of the instrumentals i can play
