Following John's excellent post showing his Vox Long Tom with nothing added I thought I would do the same thing with the ESE Echomatic 6SE This is a straight recording with my Japanese Strat into the ESE and straight into the computer, Nothing added, Like John's post it shows what valves can do

Hi Peter
Wot - No Reggae??!! :D
Lovely presentation of a Classic.
The echo sounds superb. The guitar tone sounds just a little bassy - to these tin ears anyway. Not a criticism of any kind - just my own observation.
Really enjoyed it.
Cheers

Thanks for the comments Ian I agree slightly bassy, easily cut when through an amp, the point was to show what the echo does on its own, by the way ...who's reggie :D

Keith, Looks like you might need to run an update, I would scan for viruses first though just to be on the safe side
Take care

Humpppph!!!!...................Typical of the work produced by someone "with all the gear, and no idea"! ;)
Seriously though, our Kid, nice work. I'm sure it'll sound just as good at Osgodby tomorrow night - although the drumming may not be quite as precise!
I, too, got an "Oh No!" when I tried to download it using Internet Explorer, but it worked fine with Firefox. I've had an ongoing problem with my IE browser for some months. For a reason that totally escapes me, eBay (and only eBay) simply will not work with IE, but is OK with Firefox.
Don't yo just LOVE all this electronic wizardry?

Regards
Paul.
