Very soon I will be sorting out all of my recent work on these patches and re-organising them into titles to make it easier for members to use. Everyone who already has the first ones will be welcome to the new list, but may have to email me again to get them. I have tweaked quite a few of them to the standard of the latest demo on this thread, but some of you may have worked out how to do that already which is good. Once you get into it and understand what's making it all work it is quite simple . All you need is a good ear and a little patience and be willing to experiment. It's all good fun.
I will post a note when the files are ready, please don't contact me until then, and only via email, no more PMs, ta . :)

With Dave's agreement, I sent his G3 patches to a few fans from our french Shadows forum (six up to now).

Here is what one of them did : https://soundcloud.com/miguel1946/happy ... 6-01-20151

The BT comes from the Shadows' original recording.

Thanks for that Steve, though it would sound much closer with the Shadows backtrack. ;)
I'm confused, I'm sure I saw that you were selling your G3X ? :)

Hi Dave,

I am not very familiar with Happy Birthday, but I can say that Wonderful Land sounds awesome and has
all the depth of the original. Congratulations!.
What is the Zoom G3X?.
Do you have a picture of it?.

Blessings,
Abel

Hi Abel, thank you for your kind words. The Zoom G3x is one of the latest units from that company at not a lot of money. It is easily viewed by looking on Google, the G3x has a pedal whilst the G3 has the same features with no pedal.
My interest in this pedal is the price, to get a sound like this for just over a hundred pounds was a dream only a few years ago. These fabulous Shadows sounds are now within reach of everyone without breaking the bank.
Not only is it inexpensive but it is simple to programme if you are familiar with how the sound is made up from a drum or tape echo machine. Here's a photograph of one. :)

Hi Dave,

The last Zoom I bought was the G2.1U and it had a pretty thin sound.
Yours seems to have a much fuller sound. Do you still need to boost the sound?.

Blessings,
Abel
