Regarding the playing Steve, I have had to re-learn to play in a way after the treatment for my recent illness (chemotherapy) made it impossible for almost a year. Maybe I am playing more aggressively with more determination to hit the notes accurately and that is transmitted into the overall feel. I just thought I had played the way I always did. That said, I do have to concentrate more at gigs than I did before.
