I must stress that this is not intended to be a copy of the original. Lead Rhythm and drums were played by me and My wife Kim played bass

Very well played as you say not a straight copy of the original Shadows recording that is not required.I must say I have always prefered the Ramrods 1961 version not because the playing is better but of the sound effects

To my ears the sound balance was fine.

You've got a nice cowboy Western sound on that thar geetar
