...and I thought he was gonna live forever.

He once presented the Shads with a Lifetime Achievement award from MOJO magazine and had some very complimentary things to say about them.

Yes a sad loss. Ace of Spades was definetly his Apache moment!!!

That's sad, I knew Lemmy back in Manchester in 1966, we worked with his band at the time 'The Rockin' Vicars' on a regular basis. RIP Lemmy.
