I agree with Noel, a great sound and excellent backing. Brought back memories of when we were a support band on a couple of Easybeat shows. Excellent... :D

Great BT, Harry Vander ("Snowy") and George Young (the composers) would be impressed. They are still both very active in music promotion, management and recording in Oz.

Sad to note the passing of The Easybeats lead singer Stevie Wright last week in Australia. What a great performer he was in his heyday, but fell into the abyss of drink and drugs in later years.

Readers might be interested to know that George Young is the older brother of Angus Young and Malcolm Young who are the driving force behind AC/DC, created originally by Harry and George as a pub band in Sydney back in the 70's. I saw them a few times then, and later when they became sensational.

Great version, i'm actually more familiar with the Gary Moore cover than the original - but his version had the amps turned up to 11 :)
